Coach suggested that I should take a few days off from running to let the body recover and get the cold out of my system. He insisted since I had delivered the big time drop on my last 10k race.
So today and tomorrow I won’t be running. It always feels a little strange when I know I’m not gonna run. It has become an addiction to me. Some days, though, it feels tough to put on the shoes and change clothes, but it’s even worse now when I won’t do it. In some ways it feels like doing something wrong – or even physically abusing the body. Some people might be of the opposite opinion 😀
Well, Coach assures me that my fitness won’t take damage from just these few days off.
